We have some new and exciting workshops coming up! Brit Davis will be teaching a 2-day Darkroom Exploration for Teens workshop from 10am-3pm on Saturday, Feb. 26th and Sunday, Feb. 27th. This workshop will introduce students to pinhole cameras, cyanotype photograms, black and white 35mm film development, and creative darkroom printing techniques. There are only a couple spaces left in this super fun workshop, so sign up soon to reserve your spot!
On Saturday March 18th from 11am-5pm, Jason Scott Furr and Charlotte Taylor of Mechanical Eye Microcinema will be co-teaching Experimental Motion: Chemigrams. This rare and experimental workshop will demonstrate how to apply the chemigram process to 16mm motion film.
On Saturday, April 29th from 12-6pm, Laurie Schorr of The Light Factory will be teaching Holga Workshop: Capturing Self and Place. This workshop will allow students to let go of technical restraints and photographic expectations by using the Holga camera. Laurie will guide you through creating images of self and place by providing inspiring work to observe and creative process techniques to open your mind and make curious, self reflective images.
